About the Role

Altar Group was founded with the vision of providing a level of service to architecture and engineering typically out of reach of smaller clients. Due to the success that has come with fulfilling this vision, we are seeking to add a registered architect to our team.

This potential team member should have at least five years of experience in commercial building design and permitting. This position requires proficiency in Revit and basic AutoCAD drafting abilities. Please see the list of qualifications below.

Responsibilities:
• Perform standard architectural calculations
• Prepare reports; prepare and review documents for permitting and construction
• Have knowledge of typical code standards such as International Codes, TDLR, ADA, Energy Code, and know how to apply them to a project
• Coordinate technical and administrative activities
• Be able to train others in drafting and project coordination

Job Type:
Full-time: role will transition to be a hybrid position once decided by the Partners.

Starting Salary: $85,000

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

  • 5+ years of experience within an architectural firm

  • Licensed Architect (AIA) or in the process of obtaining licensure

  • Work efficiently in Revit and AutoCAD

  • Work in MS Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience working in all phases of design

  • Communication and project management skills
